What is included in the nutrition coaching programs?+

We have two options: BeMum or Fertility Nutrition Profile.

Fertility Nutrition Profile includes (1) a genetic test looking at genes involved in the metabolism of pro-fertility nutrients and (2) a one-time fertility dietitian session to review your genetic results.

The BeMum subscription includes monthly coaching sessions with a dietitian, custom supplements, personalized nutrition plans, and support materials (e.g. recipes, meal ideas, and lifestyle tips). The genetic test is not included as standard but is an optional extra. This program has a minimum subscription of 3 months so that you can maximize benefits for you and your future baby. During the program we may target a diagnosed fertility pathology, inflammation, oxidative stress damage, excess weight, or other fertility relevant factors such as stress, exercise, and sleep health.

What type of genetic test is used?+

Our test analyzes 18 genes related to fertility nutrition, examining 22 genetic variations (SNPs). These genes influence nutrient metabolism, oxidative stress management, and predisposition to metabolic conditions affecting fertility.

How does the test work?+

You’ll receive a kit with instructions on collecting a saliva sample, which you’ll send to the lab. Results are typically available in about three weeks and will be posted to your FabLife account.

When and how will I receive the genetic test results? +

You will receive your results about 3 weeks after you ship your sample to our lab. Log into “My FabLife” on our website and the genetic report will be posted there!

Do I need to follow a specific diet?+

Our approach is fully customized, so there is no one-size-fits-all diet. We create personalized pro-fertility nutrition plans based on your individual health goals, preferences, and lifestyle.

Can I get support outside of scheduled consultations?+

Yes! Our BeMum plan includes access to your dietitian between appointments through messaging, email, or chat, so you can ask questions, get feedback, or troubleshoot any challenges you face.

Who is the program for?+

Our programs help both men and women who want to improve their fertility. Whether you’re struggling with infertility, receiving fertility treatments, or simply preparing for pregnancy, FabLife can support your journey.

The program is particularly effective for individuals with fertility-related conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, or unexplained infertility. It addresses factors like inflammation, oxidative stress, and hormonal imbalances to improve fertility outcomes.

Is the program geared to a certain age group?+

Our programs are for people of all ages looking to become pregnant, whether you have a diagnosed fertility condition or are just starting to try to conceive.

Is the BeMum program suitable for women with PCOS?+

Yes, the BeMum program is designed to help women with PCOS by addressing issues like hormonal imbalances, irregular ovulation, reduced egg quality, and excess weight. We also offer a specific supplement (S+) formulated for women with PCOS.

Can women with endometriosis benefit from the program?+

Yes, the BeMum program is suitable for women with endometriosis. Since the pro-fertility diet is anti-inflammatory, it helps reduce the inflammation associated with endometriosis. Our dietitians are also trained to manage fertility conditions like this to help improve your chances of conception.

Is the program compatible with diabetes?+

Yes, the pro-fertility diet is low in glycemic index and suitable for diabetics. Many of our dietitians have experience managing diabetes alongside fertility concerns.

Can my partner join the program?+

Yes, we offer pro-fertility plans for men and women. Check out BeMum for women and BeDaddy for men.

What scientific evidence supports the program?+

Both programs are built on scientific research. The BeDaddy program is backed by a clinical study, while BeMum is supported by scientific evidence showing how pro-fertility diets benefit women’s reproductive health.

Our patented algorithm calculates each person’s nutritional needs based on genetics, allowing us to personalize your diet and supplementation for optimal fertility.

I don’t have a doctor to prescribe the program. Can I still subscribe?+

You can enroll in our BeMum program without a doctor prescribing the program. If you wish to take the genetic test though, we invite you to discuss this with your doctor, if they are not already one of our partner physicians.
